“Fiddle Back Fall,” a rustic modern dining table design inspired by the feather-style wood grain. This elegant wood slab is cut from an ethically sourced Oregon black walnut tree. This live-edge table is one of seven live-edge wood slabs cut from the original log; it’s the last in this sequence. Also, the acrylic leg adds an eye-grabbing appeal to a floating dining table.
I believe in the minimalistic approach to woodworking and rustic furniture design. Only taking away what I must, allowing the natural wood to express itself fully. Above all, attention to detail, such as when to fill a hole or add a bow tie. Understanding the nature of the wood, how it expands and contracts, and how to bring out its full expression.
